HALCYON HILLS - FAST TRACK
With Fast Track imminent and therefore a confirmed window in which we know that construction of Halcyon Hills can commence, we will be liaising with the site construction companies to ensure that they are fully committed to the project.
We will also be providing regular updates and photographs of the Halcyon Hills Resort and we look forward to sharing these with all owners.
All of the paperwork has been sent to Invest in Greece for their appraisal. The Head of Invest in Greece has given us very positive feedback regarding our project but asked for further explanation on a few areas, such as a more dynamic business plan in Excel format, as opposed to a Word document and created in a Greek format.
We therefore sent this list to our specialist Mr Nicholas Efstathiadis. He has collated most items but needed help with the business proposal being converted into a style the Greek authorities accept. Therefore, he in turn put us in contact with Dr George Ganetsos, who is completing the extra requirements of Invest in Greece.
All of the paperwork has now been collated and is in the hands of our specialists. A meeting was held between all parties on the 31st October and it was agreed that the file would be submitted on the 8th November.
As you may recall, once this document is submitted to the fast track authorities (Invest in Greece), they then have 14 days in which they must submit to the Ministerial Committee. The Ministerial Committee then have 30 days to review the submission. Should they offer no objections or any comment at all, this means that we will be accepted.
This will then mean that all subsequent permissions, such as the Environmental and AOT Licenses, will have a maximum timespan of 90 days to be considered for approval; thus greatly expediting the approval process (which of course we have already successfully applied for in the past).
Now that the historical problem with the title deed boundaries has been resolved and the pool moved back to further within the resort, we see no reason why the project will not commence at the earliest opportunity.
