The survey measured actual cost of living against perceived cost of living. The results show that Greece is perceived to be expensive, when in fact the reality is that Greece is actually one of the most financially economical places to visit.
“Overall, Greece was perceived by the UK public to be significantly more costly than Turkey, ranking 19th most expensive versus Turkey which is in 28th place. In-resort costs show Greece is in fact 25% more economical than Turkey and proves to be the second most competitively priced destination overall, both with and without flights.”
